Many people complaints since they often get no signals when they want to make calls or simply want to send text messages. The first edition which is already launched to the market has this serious problem surely makes bad impression to this brand.
Most of the case is that the phone did not able to receive any signals when user touch of the metal casing which is also becomes part of the phone mechanism in receiving signals. Like any other wireless phone, the antenna placement can make significant difference when getting signals. Officials’ answers that this is unavoidable since the design of the antenna are compromised by various factors both from departments inside Apple and from FCC or AT&T. iPhone 4S Antenna problem becomes big since the phone has two symmetrical slot for the antenna which when covered by hands will significantly reduce the ability of the antenna to receive any signals.
The short solution which Apple now working on is that they are selling $29 rubber case so that iPhone 4S Antenna problem can be reduced. There are also some experiments concerning on the issue which result that the signals will not disturb when the phone are laid on the table or simply we did not touch the part where the antenna placed. This issue can easily reproduce when we are covering the left edge of the phone. Of course when we want to make calls we often did not think to cover the part. However, the iPhone 4S Antenna problem surely makes people uncomfortable when making calls.
